I used the mustang motor mounts from an 87-93 Stang and it worked out perfect for lining up that tranny crossmember.

As for the hydro clutch kit, I ordered from Daze Cars online.

I like the front crossmember but I would have put that looped part to the front of the pan to better protect it when you ride low.

Thanks. Yeah that probably would have been a good idea, but there was a bit more clearance running it behind the pan and in front of the bell housing.

Thankfully the crossmember is about 1.5" lower than the bottom of the pan so when I lay the truck out, the crossmember will hit before the pan.

Made some significant progress on the truck yesterday. I got the starter and alternator wired up and the engine turned over!
Figured out the wires for the reverse lights, oil sensor, temperature sensor, battery indicator, ignition to coil, ignition to electric choke on carburetor, and tachometer.

Decided I am going to use hood pins so I can do away with the cable latch and make it easier to mount the radiator in front of the core support.
Sending the speedometer cable to Speedometer Solutions this week so they can make a custom cable that will have a Mazda cluster end on one side and Mustang T5 tranny end on the other side.

Thanks! Yep, one step at a time.

Question for you guys...

I am running a Holley 4-brl carb and HEI distributor. Can I use the factory fuel tank with the factory pump out of my B2200 or will it be starving for fuel? It was carbureted to begin with.

Fabbed up the exhaust. 2.25" piping and a flowmaster original 40 series muffler. True dual exhaust. I had to dent the pipe a little bit to clear the crossmembers, but it shouldn't effect flow. It just elongated the tube.

Had to cut out a lot of the core support to fit the radiator. This all needs painted and finished, but the mustang rad now fits. Decided AGAINST hood pins!

New electric fuel pump and regulator. The pump is going to be mounted to the inside frame rail on the passenger side.

Some progress on the heater lines and wiring.

Custom driveshaft. Much beefier and a single piece instead of two piece with a carrier bearing. T5 transmission yoke on one end, Mazda differential flange on the other.

Gas tank mounts. The bed floor will be raised and the tank will be under the bed if I need to access it.

Also had to raise the 4-link crossmember and tunnel the cab so the new single piece driveshaft would clear.

Also, you can see exhaust was completed. Summit block hugger headers, straight 2.25" piping, and Flowmaster original 40 series mufflers. Turned out before rear tire. True duals.

Test fitting the radiator. Just need to make brackets to mount it now.

Decent room for electric fans too.

Not your typical gas tank mount... but I like it. The bed floor will be raised to accommodate.

Had to cut the floor out to fit the driveshaft in the tunnel when laid out. Hurst shifter installed too.

He runs!!! So pumped up!

Only problem is when I put coolant in it last night so I could set the timing, it all leaked out of the water pump so I am going to buy a new one and replace it today. Making good progress though!
