Well, it's warm again and time to work. My brother got a full time job so he can buy parts now without saving up for 6 months at a time. lol. Parts are being ordered so we can hopefully by 2015 have it on the road. I've been busy working on a gas saver for the wife. 96 Acura Integra with a b18 and automatic, so far I've replaced a balljoint, starter, alternator, drivers CV shaft, and now trying to figure out a idle issue it has. At start up it runs almost 2000 rpm's, then after a minute it drops between 1500 and 2000 and jumps back and forth like your reving it up. Slowly drops down to like 1000 after a while. Anybody know much about these cars? And I sold my fullsize 4wd and picked up a 93 s10 with a 305 and a 5 speed to play around with so my time has been spent between the two.

Cleaned it the other day and nothing, guess I will have to replace it.

MAF or speed density? A bad MAF sensor could cause a hunt at idle. Clean the throttle plate to.

Think I'll pull the entire IAC system and clean it and the throttle body up next time I get a chance. It's a low cost build since other than the starter it was free to me. lol
