Well hopefully I can set my castor so most of the wheel spinning will be done by the truck. You just have to loosen your grip on the wheel and it will spin in your hands during transitions. Maybe ill like it maybe not.

As for rear suspension I'm running leaves with a panhard bar and traction link which I haven't built yet. Might add some air cylinders so I can still carry heavier loads.

is the rear going to be stiff enough do you think? how is the body roll gana be ? never built a drift truck but i know my rear with full leaf pack is still really soft think i might have to try and build a rear coil over set up as well or a stiff sway bar

Ill be running the stock front sway bar in the rear and a full size chevy sway bar in the front. Body roll should be almost non existant. It feels like the sliders in the rear stiffined it up a bit. I can jump in the bed and still get some movement.

ah then shouldnt be to much of a problem then ... do you have to cut the chevy sway bars ?

I dont know yet. Its a friends bar that I plan on mocking up. Not even sure if its gonna fit yet. Its HUGE.

Yep, you'll have to cut them for sure!
I used a 36 mm. sway bar from a '92 Formula Firebird on mine.
I didn't know they're hollow, until then.
I welded it up and never looked back.
Make sure you beef up the frame mounts... you'll have to modify them too.

what did you narrow it? Mine wont be mounting in the stock manner. Nothing stock about the truck, not gonna start now. The farther out it mounts on the control arms the more mechanical advantage it has therefore the stiffer it will be.

you should look at a sway bar for a durango or s-10 balzer...im using the blazer sutup...its nice cause there are no end links...just "D" bushings on the end. I thought it was easier.
