I believe you.

I think the killing point is the snowball effect. Its easy to get into, but hard to get out of.

You start out with something simple, and doable, but as you read other builds, etc, you start to get idea's.

For example, I almost had my little truck ready to paint, then I saw a truck that had the hidden tail lights, and smoothed rear bed. So I decided that I would also like to have that look. This ended up prolonging my project by about two months.

There are other things as well, like when I wanted to upgrade my brakes to something reasonable in size, then ended up with 14" front brakes.

I was just telling my son that I was really glad I did finish it, even though I still think it was one of my worst mistakes to build it..........lol.

Update for You guys, Truck has Sold and gone onto a New Owner in NZ. Is in Good Hands
