I'm not that skilled, that is far too advanced for me. I'm going to try to move the IRS a bit closer and use some JEEP fender flares.

Coming along nicely. Y not just section a bed and extend it to fill the gap?

Considered it, heck still might do that, bit that is also more than I want to do. Plus cutting thatuch of a bed off at a junkyard with a hackaaw would be difficult.

If I had a spare one I could see how it would line up, but the stock axle was about 1" further back than the IRS assembly. I'm likely to have the same issue. The only regular cab bed I have is firmly mounted on my 87. The finding a good reg cab bed is the hardest part. Lately the only Bs that make it to PaP are rear ended or rusted through. Last good one I saw 91 B2600i was extended cab.

standard cab bed on Redemption.

Going to try to tweak the position of the rear axle housing to see if I can center it better.

It makes me cringe seeing that other bed tossed up against that tree in the background

Its resting on a table actually, lol. I'm kinda sad though, I put a lot of work into that bed just to not be using it. A lot of paint too on the under carriage, welded the fuel door, and patched the floor
