avatars im stupid

so ive tried to size pics of stuff i wanted for an avatar and i cant seem to manage to get one of a good size cuz i kep getting rejected and none of them are crude or aything so please waht ami doing wrong! something this small shouldnt be bothering me this much help before im bald!

look to see how big the size of the avatar file is...that may be ure problem

ive resized them down all the way down to like 2.9kb so i cant figure the problem

some sites go by the amount of pixels, I'm not sure about this site though
