steering kit ... too good to be true?

Anybody know how good Omega Auto Store's reputation is?

I'm looking at replacing all front end joints, and per part from local store is ~$550, or i can get a shop to do it for ~$650. However, here are all the parts for <$100:

Is this too good to be true?

Apparently they have good reviews on ebay.

I got their stuff.
I am satisfied with everything except the pitman arm.
The first one's splines were way too small to go on the steering shaft, and the second one only went on half way, so I'm still using my original.
Make sure you use some loctite on the nyloc nut on the top of the idler arm!
Even though it's a lock nut, mine loosened up more than once.

So the shop called me and their price went up to $841. I believe I'll take this...

Thanks Sin!

Hey Sin, what brand are these? Or are they just "Omega" brand? They appear to use Moog numbers, but somehow the kit seems too cheap to be Moog.

Doubt those are moog I bought something like that off ebay with the same moog part numbers but turned out they arent moog. They looked to be pretty decent quality though but I ended up not using them and buying real moog parts from rockauto.com think I paid around $200 for all upper & lower ball joints

They are definitely NOT Moog.
I'm not sure if I ever knew what brand they are, but I doubt you'd find anything better at any auto parts store in their "house" brand.

I've done a few of these kits as well..yeah.. same bull with the pitman arm here..it was a no fit.. but it was nice to have most of the parts have zerk fittings.. I did a kit on my 4x4 and it was nice..then after replacing an upper balljoint from an accident with a moog piece I was dumbfounded to see no grease fitting on it.. but all and all..not bad for cheap

Well, if the pitman arm sucks, you thing the $50 kit for ends/joints/idler + $50 Moog pitman at local store is a good idea? Ends up around the same cost.

I think you answered your own question.
