i was told a motor out of an 85 mazda 626 is the same as a b2000 is that rite?

The block should be the same and there is a chance that the head is the same as well. What might be different would be the location of the distributor and the intake setup. The 85 626 IS EFI, and the setup CAN be adapted to the B series pickup, but it's not a simple quick swap. I did the EFI portion with a MS-1 setup and it worked pretty good.
