2. also seen that some have a letter casted into them seen some with a K or P or nothing at all what or if any deferences would this mean?
3. so i pulled a valve cover at the local salvage yard gave 5 bucks for it i polished it out and brought it to the mechanic doing the rebuild on the motor and noticed that the original one doesnt have like these rubber/steel washer inserts that go on the bolts that hold the valve cover down now on the polished out one has like rubber/steel inserts that go on the bolts
what im wanting to know is do i have to use those inserts/washer things or can i just use the bolts and no washer things my motor originally came with just the bolts no washer/insert thingy or can i buys those inserts at like discount if i need to use them on this specific valve cover? if so what year and what motor 2.0L or 2.2L used them MY MOTOR IS A 2.2L

The 2.0 and the 2.2 Valve covers will fit the same and use the same gasket. There is a slight difference with the location and angle of the PCV valve but it's easily manageable.
