Just got my newly rebuilt head in and getting ready to put it on but have a couple questions. I noticed the cam timing gear has 4 holes to line up with the dowel pin on the cam, I didnt pay attention to which one it was in during teardown, can anyone help out with this? This is a 89 Mazda B2200 carbed engine. Also is there any tips to help out with the process? Any places the need permatex?

that dial will go to #1. there is a very small dot on the bottom of the distributor shaft to index also for correct ignition timing
