Can't find temp sensor!!

Hey guys, I am writing for the main reason that I cant find the temp sending unit. People tell me its near the intake manifold. i still cant find where it is. The gauge on my trucks temp doesnt work and I believe that its the sending unit. If someone can put a diagram or a photo of where it is I would be so greatful. My truck has a 2.2L carb motor if that helps locate the image or photo. Thanx guys.

Temp sensor (for dash gauge) on my engine is mounted into the base of the thermostat housing on the front of the engine, it has a single wire running to it with a round pin type connection.
Just follow the top radiator hose to the block itself to find the thermostat housing.
