weber question

I assume the difference between the DGEV and the DGV is electric choke right? on my 86b2000 will buying the DGV effect anything? its hell of alot cheaper and i got hooked up with the adapter kit so all i need is the carb and some gaskets and an air filter... Any input would help thanks.

As it seems thats the only difference... and it wont run any different.
