welp the 89 croaked. dunno wut happend. its actin like its 180 degrees out. it had a bad misfire after the new head and now after a new coil it wont even fire. turns over just fine. only mods are the pacesetter and weber. any idears y'all?

definitly checking timing. Do you have fuel? spark?

all timing is set to top dead on #1. i got spark. dunno bout fuel. it was poppin out the carb.

Go back and verify that the timing belt hasn't jumped teeth.

You can pull the top cover, roll the engine around to TDC on the crank pulley with a 21 mm wrench. If you don't see the A mark on the cam, roll the engine around with the crank bolt 360 degrees and see if it lines up at that point.

A mark on the cam? u mean the gear? not bein a d!ck, just askin. i'm probly just gonna part it out and scrap it. need the money anyways.

Sorry. . .the "a" mark, as versus the "b" mark, as versus the "c" mark, is on the cam timing belt sprocket.
