Engine Swap Question?

i have a 1988 mazda B2200 shortbed std. cab with an automatic trans, I wanted to know what motor could i use to bolt right up to a stock B2200 automatic transmission? Thanks!!

what are u going to do with the truck? Daily driver,drop and drag it,show it?if u just want a good daily driver,put another 2200 back in it with a header and Weber carb and just drive it.they are stone cold reliable litte trucks with one basic design flaw,the horrible stock Nikki carb and a pollution control system that looks like it was designed by Hager the Horrible.Get rid of those and the trucks run pretty good.my 2 centavos.bj

KIA Sportage FE3 from 1999 to 2003 (I think) bolt right up, use the Mazda engine mounts.
