Engine swap time!!

okay so i picked up a motor and trans with the head gasket done about 20k ago. the motor and trans have 150k on them
the motor came out of a 90 b2000 and i will be transplanting it into a 89 b2200 the price was right!!
anybody have any tips for me??? i have never swapped a motor!!!?!?!?!

pull old motor out...put new motor in. your doing the same engine/engine changeover...

mark all your bolts and plastic baggys are your friend here. mark the bag (left motor mount) put all left motor motor mount stuff in there...put in a plastic bin for storage/cleaning

Do what Korrupt1 is saying, Black Sharpie, Plastic bags.

What can also help is a Digital camera and taking pictures of the steps, it can help later on. I've taken pictures of stuff when I'm taking it apart for reference when putting it back together it can help.
