alternator question

i need to get a bigger alternator cause my two viairs are killin my battery my boy has a gm alternator he got it in a bag of parts with his bagged yota.. do you guys think i could run that

yup you should be able too, depending what altenator it is

1 wire gm alts are what most people swap over to. depending on what modle it is and the amperage output. it should be better then the stock alt either way.

thought i would use the same thread being there was one already started. I am also hving problems with battery drainage from compressor. what year gm alternator would be the best choice?

When i went to get mine i went to the local starter and alternator shop and asked for the old style gm TRUE one wire alternator. they will get you what you need.
