pedel is sticking

my gas pedel sticks at like 55-60 mph and its not the carb or the cable what could it be?

pedal arm bent? something wadded up under carpet? floor mat interfering with full pedal? cable too long(cant get full throttle?) cable slipping out of throttle butterfly cause its bent? throttle stop misaligned? etc,etc.bj
