Smoking when started..

so i noticed it smoking when i start it.. it seems to be white. maybe light blue..i know ive read this happening to many others i just wanted to know if anyone knows what exactly is happening ..and what could i do to make sure thats the problem? and last but not least how do i repair this prob...? i appreciate the help guys..

oil rings and or your getting leak by due to worn valve guides.

I'd start with the valve guides theres a few post on how to replace them just use the search feature.
