Can someone tell me how to get the cranshaft timing sprocket off a 2.2? This thing is driving me nuts!!!

Have you tried using a gear puller?

I used one that you put two screws in on the sprocket and then crank on the center bolt but that didnt work. the screws I used were kinda short. maybe I need longer ones.

pic in this link is what I tried to do except for the drilling. I used the bolt holes that are allready on the sprocket.

Sorry, pics should be up now. I sugest not useing anything to pry it off. The edge of the sprocket is fragile and cracks easily. The price for a new one is between $20 and $30 dollars.
