My 1990 b2200se had the crank timing gear start to wobble a little. I took the belt off and the gear moved very slightly in and out and back and forth independently of the crank. I tried to pull it off and failed. I heard there might ne a key pin in it that has bent. I don't know much about imports and any info will help. Shouldn't this gear pull off once the bolt is removed from the end of the crank.

there is a Woodruff key in the crank snout that holds the crank pulley in position and prvents the wobble.ur key has either bent or broken.a good Maz mechanic can get the pulley off the snout, and repair the keyway and fit a new key.Notice I said a GOOD Maz mechanic.Do not try and shadetree this job or u will end up buying a new crank.BJ
