Are the regular cab and the extended cab drive shafts the same? Are they all 2 piece and are they universal throughtout the years? Any help would be great.

some of the earlier reg cabs were 1 piece, seems somewhere around 89-90 they swapped to a 2-piece unit in the reg cab....either of which will work in the reg cab, but the reg cab units aren't interchangeable with the cab plus units...also note that the flange that bolts to the rear axle carrier may be different inbetween the 1 & 2-piece reg cab units, and is def different inbetween the b22k and the b26k units

Reg-cabs with a shortbed should have a one-peice, reg-cab long beds should have a two peice.

Same here, I have a reg cab and a two piece. Some came with one though. But to get the original question answered: the answer is NO and NO.
