auto to manual swap

Just bought my son a 91 b2600i with an auto tranny. Wouldn't mind swapping to a manual for better mileage if it isn't to big of a deal. n e 1 no?

Did it to mine, well actually it was a manual that the guy was swapping to anto and I undid everything and made it manual again! The hole in the floor is the same w/ both , cross member is diff. but the drive shaft is the same, yoke and all will work with either. Its eaiser to swap the whole pedal assemble than to just change the pedals. and you need all the hydraulis lines. The auto has its own computer in the drivers kickpanel but as far as I know the engine computer is the same. It can be done, buts quit a little project. But in my opinion well worth the effort! Im sure I missed somthings but you get the ides!
