is there any difference between a 2.0 and 2.2 block, or is it the same block with just different heads and such?

same heads different blocks the 2.2 is a little taller than the 2.0 and the water pump area is different as well. Both will work in ether truck but the blocks and rods are different.

ummm i thiought the blocks were the same??...and the head was different...2200 non adjust rockers and 2000 were adjustable

i got a spare block from a friend, couldnt find any markings on it and not sure if it was a 2.0 or 2.2

take a pic of the front of the block and the top were the head bolts down and we should be able to tell yea
