small block swap

what would it take to ut a small block in my truck i have an 86 single cab mazda.

just an idea ive been throwing around

cuting welding grinling bolting and a set of headers and a motor and trans and a driveshaft,,,its a lot of work but worth it in the end

the thing is ive thought about it and wouldnt mind having a little truck with alot of power.

so im tossing around i dea before i go and start building on a motor that is wore slap out

motor mounts, trans cross member, depending on f.i. or carb would need a e.c.m. and wire harness, drive shaft work and id def recommend a different rear end, suspension would need to be beefed for the extra weight up front, lots of work but would be one hella sleeper...

yea thats what im thinking you pull up to a stop light in a mazda lowered with the v8 and bust sombodys ass that thinks they got what it takes.
just leave them sitn ther going what the hell

but my truck has an automatic so im giting ready to swap to a 5 spd tranny, do i have to go and get that cross member for the tranny or will mine be the same
