ok i have a 1990 b2200 with the fuel ijected motor siting at home. i bought it off this guy and he told me that all it needed was a distributor. so i bought a new distributor put it in and no spark! so i replaced the coil and again no spark. now everything from the coil to the spark plugs is new and it will still not start. i need some help, is computer bad? is this common among these years?
Well first off do you have power at the coil?
Okey, so you need to find out why you arnt getting power to the coil. Fuses... wires not hooked up?
Check the master fuses as well, the ones on teh passenger side near the battery. Mine blew once, and took me 3 days to figure out why my truck was dead.
ill check that when i get back home, im just trying to get an idea right now so i can attack it head on when i get back
Fyi I sold this truck awhile back, it ended up being a bad ECU, the buyerb replaced it and it ran like a damn champ
