Secondary Exhaust

Will my truck run with out the secondary exhaust pipe from the top of the manifold to the air intake/carb? Of course i would have to fill the holes on the manifold so i dont lose back pressure.

Would it run the same? Would it warm up slower. Also do i plug the hole that is going to the intake/carb?

if your talkin bout what i'm thinkin ur talkin bout its just a heat riser and takes heat off the manifold and into the intake.

i took mine off then cut away that metal cover. the hose isn't attached to the manifold, just the cover.

your talking about the smog pipes. yes it will run fine, just cap off the holes.
