engine swap

OK first off "I DID A SEARCH" so I dont need to be told to do that!

Secondly I have a 88 probe gl, 89 probe gt, and a 92 probe lx. I want to take the gl 2.2 bottom end and match it to the gt 2.2 top end and drop it in my my b2000. What parts will I all need off of these two cars? What else do I need on top of these parts?

After reading thru pages upon pages of threads I am completely confused on what to do.

I have a 351w with c6 auto and 8.8 posi rearend but I rather go 4cyl turbo because I will get a better weight to horsepower ratio.

Just use the the probe gt the 2.2 turbo. From what I've been told in the past on here is that it will bolt right up to the 2200 trans out of ur truck. That's what me and my friend are gonna do to his truck on once we find an old probe turbo or mx6 turbo.

i think there is problems with using the probe head due to the fact the dist. hits the firewall

no problem with dizzy heater core is coming out so if I have to notch or cup firewall no prob. Im looking mainly at parts needed.

the intake will face the firewall and will need to be flipped.
