hey guys i am wondering if anyone has encountered this before on a b2600 '92' model, My clutch master cylinder is leaking down the firewall from the actuator housing. iv'e gotten another master cylinder from an old b2600 at the wreckers but I am wondering if just bleeding my lines to check for air bubbles will do the trick?

The m/c and slaves go out on these trucks all of the time

It would be a good idea to get a new one... you'd get a warranty and know it works.

EDIT:" Duh you said 2600. IDK how different it will be.
It's wise to swapped master and slave together.

You'll sill need the Haynes manual, as I only covered what Haynes don't.

Agree: I always replace both now, have done this at least 5 times in the 20 years I've owned my B-truck.
I also suggest lifetime warranty cylinders, or dealer ones. Remember to bench bleed the new clutch master.
