will a 83-87 b2000 auto trans work in a 90 2200 auto

Hi I have a 90 b2200 auto carb engine with a beat trans. I found a 83 to 87 b2000 fe aut trans imported from japan . Will it work in my truck? Thanks for the info.

I don't know if the imported transmission will work or not, but with USDM transmissions 86-93 will swap, all are hydraulic.
