I agree with Rick. Fresh paint will set it off, and keeping the original color is a good idea. Everyone seems to be doing a shop truck/faded look now. That look kinda contradicts with the big billets anyway.

I love it, if it were mine, I would go with a nice shiny paintjob to protect it.
The rat rod look is how all unrestored ones look, lol
If ya wanna go witha rat rod theme I would say 2 tone hot rod flatz red/burgundy on top and black on bottom.
Either way it'll be cool, I just remember the first minitruck I ever saw, it was a bulletside datsun slammed in lime green, it rocked. It pulled a trailer with matching sea doo.

I decided to go with the burgandy with a white top.I have a little body work left and then paint and put her all back together. I sprayed some white primer on to roof to see if I liked it.

Pretty sweet looking Chris! Looks like things are starting to come together since the last time I saw it. Rat rod look is nice but you know me - its gotta be shinny
