72 datsun 521

yep got a new front clip rebuilt motor/trans and a new frame all painted up nice too for her truck.

same colors as my c-10 but the top will be white bottom will be lime green and a chevy orange pinstrip. There both 1972 so i will take them to the shows together.

Sweet project ya got going there! I freaking love me some old school rides! And the chevy is pimp as hell too!!! Cant wait to see the datsun and aired out!

I am looking for some opinions leave the paint as is (wifes idea) for now (a year or two) or paint it as planned?
I kind of like the "rat rod" look its has now I would add some shop emblems on the doors.

I would re-paint it that burgandy it it wearing. The rat-rod/ shop truck look is getting a little stale. I think the stance is right on and the wheels are perfect. Awesome truck! I had a 1971 green one. I think it is my favorite Datsun body.
