tire size

so i got some escalades for my truck and was wondering what is the widest tire i can go without problems? i want to put 245s on but not sure if that is too wide. so i need to go 225?...help?

yea..i know people put 205 on but that is too skinny for me. at that point it starts to streach and im looking for more of a meaty look on them

i did 215/45. more common tire around here and doesnt look like a rubber band
