There is a tool for that, about $20. It hooks on to a tooth so the engine does not spin. Try searching google "flywheel tool".

wow.... there is NO oil pressure behind fly wheel bolts.....

The bolts are open to the oil pan, no pressure but they will leak bad if you don't use thread sealant, blue loctite may or may not seal don't take a chance, I did and had to do it a second time. I used permatex thread sealer and after 2 years no leaks

If you don't put loctite on the flywheel bolts, they WILL leak oil!

I always use the red Loctite and never have any leaks there........and yes, it can still be removed later........red Loctite is NOT permanent!

no the rear main seal sits behind the Flange that the flywheel bolts to. That "disc" with the threaded holes that the flywheel bolts to sits outside the sealed block with the rear main sealing the shaft behind it. The "thread sealant" is locktite. You put it on so the bolts dont back out not to keep oil in. If you are leaking oil around the fly wheel change the rear main.

Thread sealant is not loctite, they are two different products. The bolts don't back out to leak the oil seeps past the threads even though they are tightened.

look at the post above my last one... they have specifically been talking about loctite. The Flywheel bolts do not hold oil in the block. If that were the case then a block on an engine stand missing the flywheel would leak all the oil out. (just for an example) That is not the case. If you are leaking oil by the flywheel, then check the rear main. Having to repeat myself over and over gets old.
