Sounds like the noise suppressor... Truck needs air, fuel and fire; check your coil after verifying you have no fire. If you have no fuel try your fuel filter.
I was wrong, the wire from the "noise suppressor"goes to + side of coil. I have fire to coil w/key on, doesn't seam to be firing at plug. got gas.

Could be your ignition module in the distributor is bad.Not saying this is the problem but the ignition where your key goes could be faulty!Try jiggling it or in small increments to see if it tries to fire.Tired I am but some ideas in the mix.
