hey mazda friends.. (does a scared look) i found my oil leak that i been hunting down for weeks. it only leaks if i turn the car on.. if the car is off it stops leaking it is a screw with a tiny hole in it.. and there was a wire(If it was the right one to go on it) which was extreme skinny on it. what it could possible be

plug it might go to your oil pressure sensor.I think it is your oil pressure sensor.

Yep.....the oil pressure sending unit. I tell others to look closely at that when they have an oil leak that they can't find. Typically when the engine is running, the oil can actually spray out from around the crimped-on metal housing, or from around the tab that the wire connector plugs onto........it can be hard to see if it is a very fine misty spray, other than the fact that oil gets everywhere! Here is a cleaner picture of the oil sender.
