sweet man, thats how we did the motor in my brothers 86 chevy truck after we z'd the frame to drop the motor back down..did a stockfloor on it

got the mock up motor and tranny in...now just gotta weld the front mounts

had to modify the pan. but it sits bout 1/2 above the crossmember
