Yeah, sand blast the entire body before paint. We still have to build inner fenders under the hood but that's it.

Primer will cure all problems, no problem. I might just soda blast it if my painter wants it to be smoother too.

media blasting is a better term, as there are WAY better materials to use than sand. soda blasting is popular, walnut shells, the list goes on. different 'grits' of material used.

Do you know of anyone that does blasting with different types of material? The truck right now is in Hesperia, CA but if the price is right I will drag the truck around. I am looking to blast the cab just not the inside and the bed inside and out.

Here the bed is done. All that needs to be done to the back half is mounting of the rear shocks. Front inner fender wells and tubs and off to blasting and powdering coating we go. Let me know what you guys think?
