Yeah, I've only got 2.5v output from my head deck's RCA's, running a single 12" Pioneer sub through a monoblock class d alpine amp, it goes pretty hard for a small setup but I know it can do better, I've heard of guys blowing 2x 18" Cerwyn Vega subs with the same amp I'm running.
Mostly I'm curious as I've never run a cap before and the price has come down so much now that I can get a 1 farad for cheaper than a line driver.

hahaha..man that would be crazy if i could break windshields lol. the seals pop before the glass lol. as for burps to break in subs im not sure. dude these woofers are so stiff i can stand on them and them braely move. and im 235lbs lol. so i say about 40 fulltilt burps. lol. and actually have been thinking about running a few caps in my truck....as i am only allowed to have 3 batteries total by the rules....if i had 3 batteries and 150 farads of caps i think it MAY help. but im not sure. only have to last for 3 seconds of discharge. maybe ill try them before finals. thanks for the support linn.

Nice setup man. wish I had one that big. I've got 2 12" kickers hooked up to a 1k watt Cyclone amp bridged and wired in parallel. They pound pretty hard. Just installed a new deh-p4100ub head unit. love having the capability of putting music on flash drive and playing it in my truck bye bye cd's lol.
