im running electric fan and didn't take that bracket off....
leave that pulley on there, and your alternator will tighten the belt between the 3 pulleys.
thanks mikey.. thats exactly what i was lookin for!
now.. to make them pieces..mhmm.
Opted to go the easy route myself and leave the stupid pulley on....It dont bother me none....and I electric fanned......for a few more days anyways.
yeah but thats one extra pulley sittin there for no dam reason!
see... i like things clean and simple.. so myself id like to remove it and get a smaller belt.. why not.
spend the extra time and few dollars to make it look a lil cleaner eh!
before you go thru the trouble find out if your local parts store has or can get that small of a belt.
simplest would be....take it off....who cares if its there or not....not a show truck...and easy means you can get the correct size belt anywhere.....what happens if you break down out in thisscreweduptown USA...and they dont have the msaller belt....what you do then? Wait? what if it takes 2 weeks to get parts....admitedly any place that tales 2 weeks to get anything anymore is a geological oddity....but using for a example
you dunno my plans! no one knows my plans but me n my father!
i just ask for some help and looky here.. people trying to tell me to keep something there that i dont want there..
and if i break down in a POS town that doesnt have a small enough belt then i'll pitch a ride home and leave the truck there till i get one. . nuff said
and yeah iam pretty sure my auto parts store has one!
