I'd say it's been a while since I posted anything about stretch so here's a little update. SHE RUNS AND DRIVES!!!! sort of.... Stretch now has a 84 nissan 720 rear end which narrowed me up 2 1/2 inches so now my wheels don't rub the bed. I shortened the driveline and added the nissan end to the mazda driveline. Welded in a full sheetmetal floor and tranny tunnel. Added honda civic seats and redid the air ride. Bought a mazda 2.2 with weber and pacesetter header and rebuilt the carb and welded in new motor mounts. I know enough talking and on with the pics!!!....

Now that everything is running and working stretch is getting blown apart and sandblasted top to bottom, front to back so that I can start with a fresh canvas. Frame, body everything is getting blasted for $150 at a shop next to my buddies buissness (weekend deal). This winter she will get slowly put back together and painted. I have everything new to rebuild the front end (ball joints, tie rods, ect...), I have all new stainless hardline for all the air ride and brake, fuel and clutch lines. I have all fairly new stock charcoal grey interior but will be changing some of it to custom when the time comes!!!
I just figured that if the front end, air, fuel and brake lines were coming out why not just blow it apart the rest of the way and do it once and for all!!! I will keep everyone informed as it goes along....
