That's badass you finally have the cab at your house.
2 questions. Are you keeping it right hand drive? And do you already have a camper shell for the long bed?

He would be correct. But I did all the hunting and all he had to do was build the create and drop it off at the dock. Not sure if my guy would be interested in doing this again. But I do have plenty of other new mates over there that might help.

Yes it will be staying RHD.

And yes I just picked up a leer long bed camper shell yesterday. I'll have pics later today. And some other pics from a package from New Zealand......

sic man! That's gonna look so badass.

So many ppl are starting to rock shells again, I'm starting to second guess using the one I have.

Look at it this way. The closed bed truck is almost extinct. The only ones even thinking about running shells are on this site. I am in California, you are in Washington and NC4LIFE is all the way in Maryland. Rock that shell son!

NC4LIFE...this is just my opinion, but running a shell on a crewcab truck is going to take away from it being a crew cab. I mean, if I were to see your truck at a show with the shell I might miss that it is a crew cab because the line will be buried. I would run a tonneu cover.

I'm not worried about you two, but I've seen a few ppl here in Washington looking for shells again, and a couple who have them. I was at least hoping I could show my truck a time or two before this fad started coming back. I'll probably roll with it no matter what cuz I already have it, and I love the look.

i always liked the canopy with either no side windows, or the solid one window on the side.

Very cool to see one of these being built in the states. Got one question thou... what are you planning on running for a motor? Hopefully not a stock 2.2L. Been there, done that with a heavy frame, hydros, and a topper. Was ok fun upto about 30MPH LOL then is was total poo for power.
