Yep the top plates are tacked in. Looks like they were cut with a torch and not cleaned up. Cut too small to drill holes into also. I like the lack of any top plates in the rear. Also like the battery holdown that is pinching the wire. I could go on for hours. It will all be better when I am done!!!

Damn Tre, You have got your wok cut out for your Fo Sho. As we have all seen by your work, you can clean this up and make it look like Jack the Hack never touched it before you. And you know if it has pics we don't care what kinda vehicle it is! -Ed

Well having been around hydros for more than 15 years I can honestly say I have seen some pretty sketchy stuff. Some portions of the old install look like they had the basic idea for a coil spring setup but with the way that trunk looks I'm supprised the owner didn't end up with a burned out hulk of a car. Kinda scary what passes for a hydro install these days. The burned off battery post is priceless. And whats with the pump stands?? Are they made outta 18 gauge sheet metal?? Sorry to be blunt but pumps are HEAVY. You REALLY don't want one of those breaking loose and bouncing around in the trunk LOL. And whats with the coat hangers wrapped around the top of the cylinders??? Yeah.

All done. One more for the hack work first. Check out the heims that were in this thing. Only one had a jamb nut, leaving about 3/8" of thread into the cylinder, and the other heim is bent.

Very nice work, I hope you remembered to twist some bailing wire around several points along the undercarriage and leave some fittings loose so they can leak in that nice new trunk. -Ed
