WOW, this build is AMAZING! Read it start to finish (1rst time on any forum more than 5 pages lol) and was shocked when I saw the smashed up truck! Love the bed and have dreams of putting one on my own! Love it great thread! Thumbs up to you and have you found a place to stay after your apartment flooded (another shock!)? I wouldnt believe it if you sell that truck ever after the H3LL you two have been through. Way to go!

I did find a place to go, didn't stay there a whole year, conditions weren't that great, spent 6 months another place before moving across country. I've thought about selling it but I always come to the same conclusion, I've had it too long to be able to let go now. I would like to pick up a scion xb and park the truck for some time so I can actually do work and not feel rushed

Well I hope you find a place, what plans do you have for it? Bagging?

Eventually. Right now it would just be to get it drivable again. It costs me more to drive the 87 2.0 than it does the 2.6

what why? You changing the motor or fixing it up again? From the wreck?

I fixed the accident damage a long time ago. I'm doing a b2200 rear axle with rx7 diff swap, with the rx7 gears in the b2200 snout/pinion. Just hadn't said anything about it cause its taking longer than it should. I need the rx7 gears lashed in the pinion, I've got it too loose.

This is also a rear abs delete time too... The solenoid near the rear is now gone, along with the sensor that was in the old diff, and the abs brain box from in cab

Oh fun, well I hope you get all the kinks worked out sooner than later, cant believe you got hit and neither of you are totalled!

My truck was declared a total loss by the at fault insurance. It was totalled...

Haha really? Was there any frame damage? My mom was T-Boned in a 10 month old f150 and was told it was wrote off! My dad went, checked it out completely, no frame or mechanical damage (except rear axel and tire) and they called it TOTALED. He made them rebuild it and incurance paid for it all, several problems with it tho. You did a great job fixing it!
Did you have to pay for all the replacment parts or did some insurance come outta it?
