Leland, interesting grill idea. One suggestion would be to make the round ends of the center section the same size / curve as the headlights. This would make the grill opening a little taller which may be a problem but I think it would make for a more uniform look.

i looked at that and contemplated it, but in order to do that i would have to removing some of the little remaining bit of original grill shell in the middle where the opening is in order for a same sized opening as the lights, and i need that remaining grill shell to mount whatever i use for a grill insert in the middle... i did look at and came to the conclusion for how i felt i wanted it to look i needed a slightly smaller middle than what the headlights are. if i had used smaller headlights it might have worked...
onto an update... picked up a bumper from pick n pull today... still cant find an b26i's in either of the 2 local yards... so i grabbed just a bumper today...

do you plan on making the headlight holes more rounded? or you leaving it like it is?

they do need to be rounded out more... they arent perfect and probably never will be but i'll try to get close

lookin good what size tires are you rollin on and how much was the grille?

peter, i need a dizzy and the pigtail to the dizzy, power steering res and mounting bracket, b2600i radiator, and i'd still like to get a replacement bubble hood
205/40/16s if i remember right, could be 215/40/16s. i'll check when i get back from work later.... as for the grill i cant say yet. im not done spending money on it.
