i cant do inprogress pics of the install, but i can get good close ups... which i will be doing after my first drinky... been a real hard day

Figured I would throw up a few pics of how I did mine... might offer a few different ideas.

For mine I ended cutting the rivet/bolt that connects the arms to the fender mount. I then switched the fender mounts from one side to the other and re-attached. I also created a custom (?) flat stock piece to hold the back edge of the hood down once closed. Also note in the first pic the "stop" that keeps the arms from flipping/moving to far forward. when open my hood does not sit completely vertical - some like it that way, some don't. Again, just some thoughts to add to the mix when using these wonderful hinge setups on our trucks.

i dont know why... but ive started cleaning up my inner fenders under the hood... didnt really have anything else to do to keep my mind off stuff... ive started with the drivers side... relocated the power steering res, and the coil pack/ignition goodies...

sweet job on the hood man. I used to have a write up on how to do it. Will have to look for it some time and post it I suppose. This is still something I think of doing...one of these days.
