build a 1/2" spacer to put in between the rods and the lower arm

EDIT: Anyone on here bd'd 3" with a stock hood?

2 1/2" body drop with 3/4" hood clearance. but i have a weber card with the smaller filter.

3 1/4 with stock hood. I dropped the motor an inch and notch the crossmember for oil pan clearance. Mine has a weber and the short filter also. Where did you get the phantom grill?

3.5" with stock hood, stock carb. had NO air cleaner for a while. ask me how well that didn't go. a rebuilt engine later, and i'm making an aircleaner to clear the hood.

did you have enough engine clearance with a 3" bd? what did you have to clearance? truck looks hella sick.
did you have to drop the engine mounts?

can you post pics of under the hood and firewall?

i had to cut the hood.. still havent dropped the motor. im notching the crossmember then dropping the motor mounts and see what clearance i can get. I may just switch to a webber, havent decided yet. ill post pics when i get home from work
