I haven't updated this in awhile so I thought I'd share a few things. Things have been real slow on it lately. Every October I work in a local haunted house and that takes up most of my time. On top of that my wifes aunt passed and she was also my landlord. But none the less. I got my taillights painted. They still have some cracks here and there but I thought they looked awful good for $10 instead of what it would be to get new tails. I also ordered my steering wheel and adapter kit that should be in anytime now. Also picked up a 18 gal aluminum fuel cell for $40. Here's a pic of the tails.
It's been a while since i last posted on this. I've gotten a good bit done since the last pics. I got the drivers door panel finished, got me a new steering wheel and pulled the carpet out. Got my compressor rebuild, got a new solenoid got a new pressure switch and am fixin to send it out to be painted, have a roll pan put on and gonna have the front fenders shaved. Here's some pics:
damn, looking good bro! if you come across another fuel cell cheap, let me know.. i'll deff pick it up!
Well the truck left for the shop yesterday. it will be getting the front fenders shaved, a molded in roll pan, my air ride fixed, and a fresh coat of John Deere Blitz Black paint. It may even get the bed tubbed and ready for when i bag the rear but well see about that. Ill have pictures up as soon as I can. Oldskewlkool is the one doing the work and he may be posting some pics in here as well.
truck looks nice bro good lookn door panels as well...
Ya guys I'll be postin up pics aswell but anyway hit up me on myspace.com/stimpyshotrodgarage. There's a few more project vehicles in there too.
Here are the pics just before olskewlkool picked the truck up. As you can see the comp went out and I can't pick the front end up and I drug a strip through the yard and up the drive way.
Trucks lookin good, can't wait to see what it looks like when olskool gets done with it!
