Project: Hustle

Well. Bayou Dawg was kind of the look i was going for. Some of it turned out good some of it didnt. Although I do like it. It gives it character. There will also be some bare metal spots on it that I will have to take care of to keep them from rusting. Is there a company that makes satin clear in a rattle can that I can use just to cover a few small spots?

just spray over those spots some more then sand them again just not as much

Went last night to get the truck running again. Had a connector broken under the hood causing the truck not to get power into the cab of the truck. I dropped off alot of parts at the shop and am supposed to get the truck back next week but you know how that goes. When the truck gets back it will be for sale. I dont know if any of you would be interested in buying it but Im looking to get $2200 with all the spare parts I have. I'll try and get some pics up as soon as I get the truck back. Here's how I left it last night. Thanks to everyone that kept up with this thread even though it wasnt much of a build.

Trucks lookin pretty good, the patina paint deff sets it apart from the bling-bling crowd....sux your gonna sell it, I was looking forward to meeting up, heck I even finally got mine running & am gonna try to get it to the exhaust shop tomorrow...keep in touch, I still wouldn't mind meeting up in the near future...

Well guys. I get the truck back tonight. It got repainted yesterday. It's now John Deere Blitz Black like the original plan. He also got the oil changed in it, the chrome bumper put on, the new pedal pads put on, the new headlight bulbs put in, the new switchbox put in, new plugs in, and is cleaning it up today. I should have pics tommorrow if nothing goes wrong.

Sounds sweet, can't wait to see the pics!

Here it is. It ain't much but it's back in my possession. Now i just need to sell it.

Well guys. The truck SOLD Saturday. Sunday I went and bought my new project. It's been fun hangin out around here but now its time to move on. Thanks for all the info you guys have give me. Here's a pic of the new project. 1979 Chevrolet C10 2wd 305. I'm the third owner. You cant tell by looking at the paint but it has been garage kept for 15 years. Its the other 15 years that got to it. Have a good one guys.
