I really like the bumper, looks very nice.

When you raced quads did you know a Scott Self? If so he is a geed friend of mine. Maybe we have met( if you know him ). My names Andy and your dually looks familiar.

Yeah, I knew Scott very well. I haven't seen him in a year or so, though. Now that I think about it, I believe he said he had a Mazda truck. I'm sure he's going to the World of Wheels, right? I'll try to catch up with him there.

I also drove this truck to a few of the races. Maybe you have seen it, too.

Fender flares will go on tomorrow. I think that will make a big difference in the looks of the truck.

I'm going to try to get everything undercoated this weekend. It really needs it now that the wheels are black.

They sent the wrong center caps with the wheels, so that's why they're sticking out so far. Luckily they're just plastic studs that I can trim and use shorter bolts to suck the caps into the wheel some more. I hope to get that done tomorrow, too.

Gas cap should be done this weekend. He's dragging his feet with it.

Also, I think I'm going to paint the chrome stars on the center caps flat black. I don't really care for the chrome.

This is looking pretty nice man. I am impressed, I hate black rims and you have tied them into your truck really well. I will be working on building my 4x4 out this spring.

Did you lift your truck at all (crank up the Torshion Bars or install a lift)?

That's looking really nice. I love those wheels on a lifted truck. Any plans on a front bumper, or keeping it stock?

Scott may or may not be in town the weekend of the WOW. I'll have to talk to him and see. He is now living in South Alabama for work and his Mom and Dad moved down there also. Sucks not hanging out with him as much, but that's life.

It has a 3" body lift on it.

No plans for the gas cap. He just forgot to paint it when it was in the paint booth. If I had thought about it I would probably have tried to build in some type of quick-fill looking cap to give it a more racey look. Oh well, too late now.

I'm definitely going to build a front bumper, but I plan on spending a lot more time on it than I did on the back one. I sort of threw the back one together too quickly.

Where is Scott working now?

The Armada wheels that I bought for this project are listed for sale now.
