Thanks for the update, sounds like its gonna be even more awesome than it already is...Sucks about the wire but each project has its hiccups.

Have you put any more thought into the front suspension, is it still stock? I was tossing around some ideas with a buddy of mine to fab up a long travel setup, as I am 2wd. Figured I would pick your brain a little. Thanks in advance.

You have done an amazing job so far. I am envious of your B!

Thanks for the compliments.

I have put some thought into the front. I believe I'm going to fab up some custom a-arms and probably use a fabricated spindle for a Ford Ranger (maybe Camburg). I do a lot of fabrication, so I'm more comfortable building a set of arms that work properly than trying to force some arms from another vehicle onto the B chassis.

Current fabrication project:

Pico Rojo is alive again!

I have put about 50 miles on her the last couple of days. All is well. I still have a few loose ends, but all in all, she's road worthy.

Next modification will be throwing in the 8.8 rear axle, four link, coil overs, and the fuel cell. Piece of cake, right?

Shouldn't be too bad, glad to see you working on this still. Have you thought about building a matching trailer to tow your ATV(s)? That would be killer!

I am about to build an open trailer, but to haul cars, not UTV's. It'll probably be air-ride, too.

Unfortunately, I no longer have time to tinker with this truck. Instead of it sitting and not being used, I'm going to let him go to someone else. I'm accepting adoption applications now.

Sad to see this one go. I learned a lot from your project. Good luck with the sale!
